A Meeting of Creditors of Colt Defense - the bankrupt maker of Colt .45s and other firearms - has been scheduled to take place in Delaware on July 22, 2015

A meeting of creditors has been scheduled in the bankruptcy proceedings of the iconic American firearms maker Colt.

Colt Holding Company LLC and certain of its subsidiaries filed for protection from creditors under chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code on June 14, 2015.  According to the Notice of Commencement of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Cases, Meeting of Creditors and Fixing of Certain Dates filed this week:

(1) the meeting of creditors will take place on July 22, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. (EDT) at the J. Caleb Boggs Federal Building, 844 N. King Street, 2nd floor, Room 2112, Wilmington, Delaware 19801; and

(2) notice of the deadlines to file proofs of claim will be sent to known creditors at a later date.
